Programming is not just about cracking out the code. Most programming requires a lot of upfront and ongoing thinking about how to solve the problem and create the project. And different problem spaces often overlap; there are core problems that every project no matter what it is about has to deal with. The programming / coding philosophy books reviewed here are about the nature of programming itself. Different styles of programming are evident with different developers, no one particular style domninates and it can be valuable to change style depending upong the environment one is in.
